We're seeing an error on our VSAN cluster after upgrading from 6.5 to 6.7. Error is "Unexpected VMware Update Manager (VUM)baseline creation failure. Please check vSAN and VUM logs for details", we've reset the VUM database and checked the logs but nothing sticks out.
Has anyone seen (and resolved) something similar?

When logging into the desktop, receive a notification on Systray "Your default browser was reset. An App caused a problem with your default browser setting, so it was reset to Microsoft Edge". The default browser still shows Internet Explorer as default. We just want to rid of this notification that appears at login.
The issue appers to be related to App Volumes as I do not receive notification when logging in with a user who has NO Appstacks assigned.

I created lab with virtual ESXi installed on VM.
Now i want add second vmk adapter with another network.
What i need to do with VM or physical host for that?
Physical ESXi have multiple portgroups with vlan 1,2,3 with different networks and gateways.
I created new portgroup with VLAN 4095 and assign it to VM with ESX.
Settings vESX, vmk0:
vswitch0
vlan 1
mgmt ip 10.10.1.1
gw 10.10.1.254
Add new vmk1:
vswitch0
vlan 2
ip 10.10.2.1
gw 10.10.2.254
But i cant ping vmk1 from outside.
If i add vmk1 on physical ESXi host - everything works fine. Problem when submitting VLANs to a virtual machine.

We are in the process of implementing the PKS infrastructure. Since we are quite new to this topic, would like to get some guidelines/best practices on the below point.
Since we are going to use the same setup for the Development, QA & Production , what is the best practices to segregate these environments.
Is it have separate clusters for each environment [DEV/QA &POD]?, and create namespaces within to segregate different projects?
Or
Have one or two clusters [one for DEV & QA and one for PRD] and segregate each project with respect to the namespaces?
or
Any other recommendations?

Has anyone successfully installed the OneDrive for Business Client in a non-persistent VDI environment? I'm looking for a procedure to get this working.
I see statements from Microsoft about it being not supported, but I also see blogs and products that appear redirect the OneDrive Offline Sync capability to symbolic link or VHD container.

We have a new Horizon view environment setup, using view client for chrome. Every time I launch the view chrome client I get a error "--------- is not in the entitled list" the ---- is the name of our connection server. I can click ok and it connects but just wanted to know if anyone seen this before.
I have a tons of vmdk files going back 3 years on my hard disk. I presume these are snapshot files. I do not need to preserve snapshots of my machine state. Some of these files are several gb. Can I clean up these files and get back some disk space?
Hi. I understand that UEM is a user capture solution and will only export/import the HKCU hive. What I don't totally understand is when I capture an application via Application Profiler, I see many instances of HKLM in the config. Now, why are those in the config if UEM cannot do anything with HKLM?
On a similar note, if an application stores stuff for a user in HKLM, or if we need to perhaps inject a reg key in HKLM during Import, what is the recommended method to achieve HKLM goodness?
Anyone else noticed that it seems to take a long time creating the disk for a new VM? This step used to be pretty fast - or at least I don't recall sitting watching it but it took about 30 seconds to created the disk on a new VM based on an SSD:

I feel like such a newbie asking this...
But am I the only one who is constantly having issues with USB support and Horizon View?
We are currently running version 7.0.3 and really want to upgrade to 7.4 or higher. The biggest problem we have is that the moment we test out 7.4 or higher we lose most USB support. USB printers are not detected, thumb drives are not shown. We have tested it on multiple hardware platform, teradici or wyse. Same thing.
Am I missing something?
We are talking basic thumb drives.

And 8.5.10 version of VMware Fusion. (apparently, I cannot upgrade any further due to the age of my system.
But recently (maybe within the last month), I have noticed something very peculiar happening. I am not sure that my system is slowing down, but it probably is.

I am in need of help. I have been trying to get VMWare Player 14 and 15 functional in the following areas on High Resolution DPI laptops:
1 - VM is too small to see
2 - I have tried the Windows 10 Override High DPI Scaling (System Enhanced). When this is set, the mouse cursor does not work at all
3 - I have also tried to set compatibility mode to Windows 8
Please help. I have tried this on an HP Spectre 15.6 with HD (1920 x 1080) and on an Lenovo Yoga 920, resolution 3840 x 2160 with 270% scaling

rather than seeing an opportunity to enter boolean expressions to limit the captured traffic

VMware Fusion 11.1.0 does not load extensions. No "Allow"-Dialog in Security Preferences Pane.
It is a fresh installed macOS 10.14.5 and VMWare Fusion 11.1.0.
I waited for more than an hour the dialog to appear.
