Does the KB "1005441" Applicable for ESX/ESXI 4.x and 5.x ?

Hi All,

The following KB is applicable when we use Sun Storage 25xx and 6xxx with LINUX as host type. This basically Disable the AVT.

Configuring Sun StorageTek disk arrays 6540, 6140, 2540, FLX380, FLX280 and FLX240 to work with VMware ESX 3.5 and VMware ESXi 3.5 (1005441)

My question is ,

1.Does this KB applicable on ESX/ESXi 4.x and 5.x?(The KB talks only about 3.x version.)

2.Does it applicable on Arrays like 6780/6580 and 6180?
