Does VMWare Tools or OpenVMTools provide a graphics driver in a Linux Guest

Hi,

I'm moving from VirtualBox, and am evaluating VMWare Workstation and Player.

My host is Windows 10 on a high spec machine that meets all the specification requirements, and my clients are Linux Based (Ubuntu).

When I use VirtualBox and Install the Guest Additions it installs a virtual graphics driver, and when you go to 'Additional Drivers' in Ubuntu you can see that it is using this graphics driver.

However when I use VMWare Player or Workstation and enable 3D Graphics after installing OpenVMTools or VMWare Tools, I go to Additional Drivers in Ubuntu and it says no additional drivers are available.  Although the VM runs at full screen without issues.

Does VMWare provide a specific virtual graphics driver as part of OpenVMTools or VMWare Tools?

Hopefully my question is clear, but if not please ask me to clarify.

Thank you very much.
