I'm having a problem with the DHCP lookup failing, and I assume it is because I don't have a router to provide DHCP services (I am connecting to the internet via a Wifi Hotspot as land based internet is not available). Instead, I am now trying to manually configure network settings - the IPv4 Address and Subnet Mask have been picked up automatically, but I need to enter the Default Gateway for my Server.
How can I find this? I have tried to ping information about all other computers on the network, from my computer that will be using Vsphere client to access my VM's on the Server, but it doesn't seem to find the Server from what I can see. I've attached my ping responses from pinging 'ipconfig' and 'arp -a' (for looking up info about all devices on network).
Can anyone help?
