Upgrading hardware: CPU, RAM, HD

I am running ESXi 6.0 U2 on HP DL 360p G8 server.

When I extended Raid 5 HDs, ESXi 6 did not automatically recognize the change. I had to manually extend it in vSphere.

If I change CPU on from v1 to v2 will ESXi 6 automatically recognize the change or do I have to do it manually?

What if I add RAM will ESXi 6 see it?
