I have been trying to follow the directions for setting up alarms in Vsphere client 5.1 build 2306356, but getting no where.
The directions say click on File>New>Alarm, but I do not have "alarm" in the listing, only "virtual machine" and "resource pool".
Is this because I am running the essentials version? I have looked to see if that is the issue but have not gotten anywhere. Any direction on this would be greatly appreciated.
