I get more few questions about vpxuser (first thread vpxuser on standalone ESXi)
1. There are a lot of articles where people said: "you cant use vpxuser account to login to ESXi and manage it", but i`ve tried and succeeded. Really, I have changed the vpxuser password by "passwd" utility and use it to login to ESXi. Furtrhermore I can login with vpxuser to standalone ESXi and to ESXi managed by vCenter. What is going on??
2. Why vCenter does not lose connectivity to ESXi after changing vpxuser password with "passwd" (vCenter was restarted)? Is it possible that vpxuser password changes in the vCenter database too during the changing of it on the ESXi? If so, what about vpxuser password policy, vpxuser password must contain 32 characters but I set only 10 characters.
3. Its said here vSphere 5.5 Documentation Center that i can change length policy of pvxuser`s password. But there is no vpxd.hostPasswordLength parameter in vpxd.cfg file.
