Here's the situation: I have VMWare Fusion Professional 6.0.2 running on a MacBook Air (no issues on that). I also own an iMac with an internal mechanical HD + SSD installed in the optical bay (primary OS drive). Two days ago I reinstalled OS X 10.8 on the iMac and copied settings/data from the MacBook Air.
I have one VM on the primary SSD and this works fine: I can see it in the Library Window, etc. I have other 5 virtual machines on the secondary drive, but there's no way to add them to the Library:
- If I double click the VM it starts but it's not added to the Library.
- If I select Add->Import… the icon is disabled (light gray), so I can't add it.
When I first opened a couple of VMs on the secondary disk with a double click, they were available in the Library windows, then the icon became an empty square instead of the usual Fusion one (at some point on one of them running I've also received a warning about a "missing disk", but the VM was running!).
