See VmWare network shared folder or partition (disks) in the linux guest

I installedVMware Player, latestversion (6.01) underWin7Pro 64bit and Ubuntu 12.04.3 64bit.
I installedsome virtual machines. In allI haveshared some folders.Unfortunately, inthoseWin,any version, I can use thesefoldersinUbuntuLinux machines, any version, I can notunder any circumstances.In both casesI installedVMwareTools.

Ubuntu VmMachine launches anerrorthat the networkis notjoin. Themessage':"Unable tomountlocation""failed to retrievesharelistfrom server".I also triedwith the antivirus/firewall disabled.Winthe machinessafelyinstead seetheVMwarenetworkwith both Windows andUbuntuasHost. Ditto forgropedto sharea partition oran entire disk. Sometimesas soon asI try toaddthe partition orwhole disktoVmerror:"Internalerror". The problem arisesunderboth host operating systems.
Someonehas mysameproblem? Someone canindicatea solution?
