Host Configuration: iMac 3TB Fusion, 28G Ram, OS X Maverick, 3 3.0 USB External Hard Drives (Shared to VM), Static IP xxx.xxx.xxx.100
Guest Configuration: Fusion 6 VM, 2 Core, 4G Ram, Linux Mint, Bridged Static IP xxx.xxx.xxx.030
All devices on local network function as expected, Printers, Shared USB Drives, Access from iPad to each etc. The host iMac has good speed on the internet with download speed ~ 50mb and upload ~ 26mb. My issue is the guest Linux internet speed crawls at ~ 10mb download and ~ 2-5mb upload.
Does anyone have insight on what I may have configured incorrectly? My goal is to be able to 1) have equally good internet service and 2) be able to reach several different ports on the guest and host both remotely. I have Links on a website that point to those IP's and Ports. IP's and Ports are configured in Router for port forwarding and they all work albeit very slowly.
I need to stay with static IP's due to some restrictions in software being utilized.
Thanks in advance.
