USB key installation does not have bootbank partition

Hi,

I just installed ESXi 5.5 onto a USB key (32GB) and began my configuration. However, after my first reboot the settings I changed reverted back to a clean installation. When I checked the partitions i found that bootbank and altbootbank do not exist and /bootbank is linked to /tmp. How can i create the partitions or should I just do a clean install again?

As a note I'm using A SuperMicro X10SLM+-F motherboard.
