I am upgrading my vCenter from 4.1 to 5.1 and I get the message "The license key entered is not valid for the vCenter Server. Ensure the license key is for the vCenter Server." This key is valid, or at least I thought it was, and when I look at it in the Management - Licensing it shows as 5 Enterprise Plus. The only thing I was wondering is that I removed some hosts and I didn't make this license for as many cores as the last one. Any help is greatly appreciated.
