Summary of datastore size, how do I build in logic in my script?

Hi.

Im unsure how I need to build my script, the thing is that we have a smart way of naming our datstores, and based on this name I want to summarize each group.

Example of datatore names:

name:               Gb

ibm-b30-101     10

ibm-b60-102     25

ibm-s30-101     5

ibm-s90-201     10

sun-s90-101     50

In above example I would like a summary of  the first two datatores, then the next two and then the last one. Like this:

name:          Sum Gb:

ibm-b*          35

ibm-s*          15

sun-s*          50

How can I build this logic in a script? I dont even know here to begin! =)

Maybe its easier if we sort them by folder for each group of datastores? Or even annotations?

/K
