I'm pretty new at this forum and I need some suggestions.
I'm trying to build a home lab with ESXi5.1. I did a config like below:
Mother Board : Gigabyte Z77-D3H
CPU : Intel i7 3770
Ram : Zeppelin 16 GB 1333 mhz
Hdd : 2 TB Seagate
But I couldn't make it work with Gigabyte. First the network adapter is not recognized. Then I found a rhel driver for the network adapter and customize ESXi iso with ESXi customizer.
The network adapter problem is solved but then I got I/O errors and it is not recognized the SATA disk. I've tried to change IDE/AHCI settings but the result was same.
Virtualization and vt-d options was enabled from BIOS settings. I've tried every combination of BIOS settings but I couldn't make it work 
I've decided to change the motherboard and I need some suggestions.
Do you have any motherboard suggestion working without problem?
