E5620 and X5650 Xeons in a vSphere Cluster with vMotion etc without enabling EVC

Hi, I've been trying to work out whether I can use my 2 servers, one with Dual E5620 and the other with Dual X5650 Xeon CPUs in a vSphere Cluster with vMotion etc without enabling EVC?

This http://www.virten.net/2013/04/intel-cpu-evc-matrix/ would tend to indicate that I can but please can someone confirm.

They are also different speeds and numbers of cores, but does that matter?

Server 1 - Dual E5620 Xeons 2.40Ghz 4 Core

Server 2 - Dual X5650 Xeons 2.66Ghz 6 Core
