has anyone been able to to do this?
running 2 hosts withs esxi 5.1 U1 essentials plus.
the hosts are a dl360 g7 and a dl360p gen8 servers.
i created a EVC and made the cpu's the same level as the g7.
but when i try to migrate a vm from the web gui all options are greyed out. if i power the vm off i can move the vm.
i did open a SR with vmware and they said, 'oh rebuild them with the essentials plus iso and it will work', but guess what 
does the essentials plus have to be configured the same way if you are doing the standard with shared storage for it to work?
i tried looking for docs on how to set up the enhanced vmotion with local storage but all i get is the PR stuff saying, oh it works blah blah.
