Want to change SCSI Controller from LSI SAS to PVSCSI

Dear Team,

We are planning to change the SCSI Controller of all VMs from LSI SAS to PVSCSI , we are scheduling this activity when we do Windows Patching Activity.

1)  take VM Snapshot

2) Add new VHDD size of 1GB

3) Change Controller type to VMware Paravirtual

4) After installing driver shutdown VM

5) Remve 1Gb VHDD

6) change the SCSI Controller type as  VMware Paravirtual for all SCSI controller

7) Poweron the VM

8) commit the snapshot

Is above POA is OK and also want to know after snapshot if we add and remove vHDD will there any impact???
