Poor aero desktop performance on Windows7 VM on vmware workstation 16

I have a pc with these specs:
Intel Core i5-9400F, Nvidia GTX 1660ti and 16gb RAM running Windows 10 2004 host system
When i install and run a Windows7 vm, i experience poor aero performance after installing vmware tools and enabling "Accelerate 3D graphics".
I set the vm at 1 processor with 2 cores, 2gb ram and 1gb vram and virtualization is enabled and hyper-v is disabled.
How to improve aero performance in the vm?? (P.S I'm facing this aero lagging on vmware workstation 15 too)
