Since I've upgraded to VMware Workstation Pro 15.5.5 on a Windows 10 (2004) host, I've been unable to connect my sound card to my Ubuntu 20.04 guest. I guess an error message saying "The sound connection control operation failed". The sound card is an integrated Realtek device on an ASRock X470 Taichi board.
This worked fine with VMware Workstation Pro 15.5.2, even on Windows 10 (2004). I do not have Hyper-V enabled so I'll probably just downgrade to 15.5.2. If there's any information I can provide to help track down the problem, please let me know.
