Workstation Pro 15.5.2 install fails on Ubuntu 20.04

When attempting to install workstation I get the below issue:

matt@L-ITS2943:~/Downloads$ sudo ./VMware-Workstation-Full-15.5.2-15785246.x86_64.bundle

Extracting VMware Installer...done.

Rolling back VMware Player Setup 15.5.2

    Deconfiguring...

Then it does nothing... the installer starts then dies right away... Anyone else have this issue or a possible workaround?
