Steam game Rec Room is showing pink

I recently installed windows 10 64 bit on my VMware and installed steam to play Rec Room on, when I first started the audio was perfectly fine, the game looked normal but the mouse and in-game movement was very slow. I installed the vmware tool and it solved the issue but everything in-game turned pink. It's the SVGA Driver that's causing it. Any help on how to fix this is appreciated, thanks! (SVGA fixes lag in game but makes everything pink)
