Hi all,
On Windows 10 x64 I've installed VMware® Workstation 15 Pro, Version 15.5.2 build-15785246 and on it a virtual machine: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. The problem is drag and rop from Windows to Linux doesn't work and the VMware tools is installed and it's grayed out on the VM tab. so I went for doing these:
1- sudo apt-get autoremove open-vm-tools
2- Install VMware Tools by following the usual method (Virtual Machine --> Reinstall VMware Tools)
3- Reboot the VM
4- sudo apt-get install open-vm-tools
5- sudo apt-get install open-vm-tools-desktop
Now it looks this way:
But still drag and drop doesn't work. What else should I do, please?
Should I un-mount the Tools and restart the virtual machine now?
