Create a VM for move a Synology NAS File storage

I work for a small company and we have a smaller Synology  NAS solution where around 8 employees store/share their work files like MS Office files in a total of 200GB.

Now. my boss wants me to move this into a VM based solutions and I have already created 2 VM named  My-DC and My-FS  and the files are copied to My-FS VM for now.

I  havnt  configured the My-DC yet as a Domain Controller and just want to start from a File Server and what is the easiest way to plan the Data transfer for the 8 users.

Please note that Im very new to the VMware and the solution should be simple at least for now.
