Recently upgraded from macOS 10.14 to macOS 10.15.3 Catalina. Today when I try to turn on Unity (for a Windows 10 VM) I get a lot of errors about various .app files being damaged (including the VMWare Unity app).
This does not happen for all applications in <my VM name>.vmwarevm/Applications/ and I cannot see any obvious pattern.
An obvious idea is that this is caused by the new requirements "all Mac software distributed outside the Mac App Store must be notarized by Apple in order to run by default on macOS Catalina." (https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=12232019a) which seems to be enforced starting February 2020.
This is with VMware Fusion Professional Version 11.5.1 (15018442), macOS Catalina 10.15.3 (19D76).
