I converted a physical machine to a VM, and then I am trying to convert tha same VM this time as source, to a different version of Vmware, from 6.0 to 6.5. I cannot hook the source to my Vcenter because the versions are incompatible. So I point my converter standalone to the VM and it always fails with the error above. I changed the IP address at the source VM, regenerated the host keys, etc. Nothing works. How do I tell the Converter to ignore host keys and do the job? Is there a workaround? I reinstalled the converter, etc. Is there a file that the Converter leaves in a VM so it cannot be used as source for a new conversion?
