VMWare Workstation 12.5 was working fine on Windows 10 until at some point update. It came back with a
VMInstallUSB
Failed to install USB inf file
The installation log in C:\ProgramData\VMware\logs shows this

Afterwards, Workstation 12.5 stop working.
I've tried to uninstall & reinstall. In between many manual cleanup (USB INF failure during install ) & reboots. Nothing works. It was working fine before so I'm at my wits end as why a re-installation failed.
Any advise
