I have the same issue as all others here. Broken pipe.
My only "workaround" was to disable mac's System Integrity Protection, which I should not need to do.
VM Fusion 7 Pro worked with zero problems for many years.
If this has been addressed in an updated version of VM Fusion, I have not seen it.
