Full DS path as a VM name after hostd restart

Hi there guys.

 

Today a VM got stuck trying to reboot over and over, we restarted the VC services on the esxi host where the VM was running to try to fix it. After the services restart the VM got it's full DS path as it's name (/vmfs/volumes/xxxx/yyyy/VM_NAME) and it was showing as invalid on both esxi and vCenter. The vm is yoda

After this I tried to cancel the registration of the VM and try to register again using the vmx file in the DS. Didn't work, same thing.

Follwed this KB with no success. VMware Knowledge Base

The hostd logs give me this error
