vCenter link mode

I have two vcenter environments each with their internal psc, each environment has separate SSO Domain, but they have same name (vsphere.local). I think vcenter and PSC should be in same SSO
domain to implement link mode. I read an article saying that it is possible to repoint to different SSO in vcenter 6.7 with cmsso-util. Someone must have performed this operation in the production. I would appreciate if you could shed some light on this process.
