vmware machine exact copy

Hello everyone,

I  have made a copy of a virtual machine and I want to load it on another vmware installation in another PC.

But because of software activation in my virtual machine I need to keep unchanged uuid.location of the virtual machine. Even if I write it in the .vmx file it changes every time the machine boots .

Is tit possible to keep my old uuid.location value unchanged?
