Windows 10 High CPU utilization

Hi,

Wondering if anyone is seeing high CPU utilization for their Windows 10 VMs/Desktops. In the "Summary" tab of the VM (vSphere Client), some Windows 10 desktops run consistently above 1.5GHz, and some even reach 7GHz! This is what I am running in my setup:

  • Horizon View : 7.5.1
  • UEM: 9.4
  • vSphere: 6.5 U1g
  • Windows 10 1803; 4vCPU; 8GB RAM (Developer worker type)

Windows 7 was not such a CPU hog. Even my own desktop runs at 3.5GHz according to the vSphere Client. The Horizon Console doesn't show me anything that helps. The Windows 10 Task Manager says the guest OS is running about 50% CPU utilization. I have ran the OSOT Fling to optimize the OS. Is there a tool out there that I can run in Windows 10 that will tell me how many total MHz it is using as a whole and per app/process? Any other mods outside the OSOT Fling that can possibly help alleviate high CPU utilization? Thanks.
