VMware-Player-14.1.3 does not start because it asks for a kernel update

Problem: The kernel already has this update.

How can I make the Player run?

In detail:

For my openSUSE Leap 15.0 64bit I downloaded VMware-Player-14.1.3-9474260.x86_64.bundle

After logon as the user who shall run the Player I opened an Xterm.

su root

sh VMware-Player-14.1.3-9474260.x86_64.bundle

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module canberra-gtk-module: libcanberra-gtk-module.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

But the Installer startet and claimed "Installation was successful." at the end.

When I then tried to start the Player it did not work:

"Before you can run VMware, several modules must be compiled and loaded into the running kernel. Kernel Headers 4.12.14-lp150.12.16-default

were not found. Refer to your distribution's documentation for installation instructions."

<Cancel>

uname -r answers 4.12.14-lp150.12.16-default

That means the kernel which the Player asks for is installed.

My PC has an Intel Core i5-3570 processor and 8 GB RAM.
