I tried to access my VCSA the other day to find that it was not working. I rebooted it and found the following error when trying to access it.
503 Service Unavailable (Failed to connect to endpoint: [N7Vmacore4Http20NamedPipeServiceSpecE:0x7f5c83622190] _serverNamespace = / _isRedirect = false _pipeName =/var/run/vmware/vpxd-webserver-pipe)
I did some dig and found that several of the drives were full. I was able to dump some logs to create free space and then rebooted the VCSA. However, the system hangs on VPXD Waiting to Initialize. There are a few other services that I have found that are not starting as well I am not sure if this is because the VPXD is not starting. The services that are not starting are:
Stopped:
vmware-eam (VMware ESX Agent Manager) vmware-invsvc (VMware Inventory Service) vmware-mbcs (VMware Message Bus Configuration Service) vmware-netdumper (VMware vSphere ESXi Dump Collector) vmware-rbd-watchdog (VMware vSphere Auto Deploy Waiter) vmware-vpx-workflow (VMware vCenter Workflow Manager) vsphere-client ()
When I check the vpxd.log file I see a few warnings and a few errors but I have not found any fixes online. I have attached a vpxd.log file. When I try to start the vmware-vpxd service will start and hang on initializing and eventual stop. After the service stops it prompts that the server will reboot in 5 minutes.
Any help would be appreciated.
