Hi
I have a question regarding VMware vSphere, using vCenter and Vcloud Director. We are a ISP hosting VM’s of each client on a VMware vSphere environment.
What is the best way to give clients access to a reboot option and access to the console, without given each client access to Vcloud Director ?
Vcloud Director is good for clients familiar with the VMware world, but clients which are not familiar with Vcloud Director, it's a overkill, especially when a client just wants to reboot a server themselves.
For the guys running a vSphere, how do you guys solve this issue ?
Have you guys tested the API functions and perhaps integrated into a protected client portal ?
Or do you use 3rd party tools for this?
Thank you for the advice
